My name is Steven Hodnett and I am one of the lucky ones who gets to ride a motorcycle for a living! I am a local guy from Ballymurn and have recently set up “Two Wheels Training” in Enniscorthy. I originally came from the Hospitality sector, having studied in DIT. Following this; I was lucky to get employment in Paris and this was the start of my love affair with motorcycles! I returned to Ireland in 2003 and 5 years later I set off on a new venture…. Spain – it was there that my passion for motorcycles was really compounded. I learned to ride Enduro, completed track days and was lucky to have made my way around the great Circuito de Ricardo Tormo (Valencia).

While living in Valencia; I also completed my apprenticeship as a Mechanic, working for Renault and Suzuki Motorcycles.

Ten years later, myself and my extremely patient wife Eithne, are lucky enough to have a magic son, Donnacha. We actually spent most of our honeymoon on the saddle!!! We clocked up 6000 km over three weeks, visiting ten different countries on a V-Strom 1000. (Some nice photos in “Gallery”)

My dream of over 15 years has come true and I have the great privilege of being able to teach people how to learn to ride motorcycles. .. Probably the best job in the world….???? (Without a doubt!!!!)

I am a fully qualified RSA Approved Driving Instructor. (ADI Number 40191) .
